Good Times-November

The beginning of November is always the perfect time to take a walk along the river and experience fall. We may live in the desert but you'd never know it from the leaves crunching under your feet and the smell in the air. It's wonderful and you can do it all without a jacket.
Here we are! I was told by a passing canoeist that I am a rich woman for being the mother of so many. Indeed!
Here's the first five!
Back at the ranch, the kids try to show Harrison how to play with his play gym. He quickly fell asleep. I'm not sure if it was the toys or the siblings who overwhelmed him more.
Our little guy in the van during our final wood gathering outing of the year.
Mommy and Harrison supervise and snuggle.
Eating a well-deserved lunch atop their load of wood.
Sam uses his dump truck like a wheelchair.
The children all got new winter coats as the temperatures dropped mid-month.
Seth and Sam plotting mischief in their room.
Harrison is our only 'binky' baby so far. Cute and handy!
The girls went to the Festival of Trees after music class one Saturday. We got a lot of ideas but have yet to put them into place on our own tree.

Our handsome guy on his first Thanksgiving.
Daddy putting up the tree. After years of cutting trees in the forest we finally came to our senses and bought an artificial tree. Trudging through the forest to find the perfect tree will have to wait until everyone can walk uphill, in the snow, for at least a mile, without whining.
Brothers! Did I mention how much Sam and Seth LOVE to hold baby brother?
Daddy takes his turn with Harrison. He always ends up asleep under Daddy's watch.
